DJ Mikey Jay

     Growing up on an eclectic diet of Funk and R&B/Soul provided by his family's record collection, Dj Mikey Jay is hard to pin down musically. Inspired by his family's love of music, Dj Mikey Jay took up the drums at the age of 13. It was only a few years later that Dj Mikey Jay discovered the turntables and the energetic rhythms of Hip-Hip. Dj Mikey Jay promptly donated his drum set to a local church and purchased two turntables and microphone and began performing at campus radio stations, local house parties, basements, fraternity parties, pool halls, & night clubs.

     Now a regular fixture of Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee DJ scene, Dj Mikey Jay has performed some of his best work at wedding receptions, high school proms, birthday parties, and nightclubs.

     2023 looks to be a busy year for Dj Mikey Jay as he begins booking events and continues to work on making music. Look for Dj Mikey Jay coming to a town near you soon!
